Dr. Antonia Mourelatos joined Lossman Eye Care in 2007. Dr. Mourelatos is a graduate of the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree 1997. She earned her second Bachelor of Science in Visual Science from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998 and her Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2001. Dr. Mourelatos was the recipient of the Wesley and Jessen Award for outstanding Contact Lens Studies in May of 2001.Dr. Mourelatos practices Primary Care Optometry specializing in contact lenses, dry eye and ocular allergies. She also co-manages patients having cataract surgery and laser vision correction. She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and has served on an international mission providing eye care to to under-served populations in Guatemala.Dr. Mourelatos and her husband, Nick, have been married since 2004 and reside in Elk Grove Village.
Dr. Balda graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1993 and joined Lossman Eye Care Associates with a special interest in disease evaluation and treatment, including glaucoma, cataract and laser refractive surgery management, and contact lenses. He has continually upgraded his techniques and knowledge in this arena as the profession of optometry has expanded its role in the health care field. A progressive eye care provider, Dr. Balda also offers the latest in spectacle and contact lens technology.
His community involvement includes membership in the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, Past Vice-President of the Lake Zurich Jaycees, and adjunct Professor of the Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. Balda and his wife, Mary, are the proud parents of two daughters.
Dr. Linda S. Murray is the newest member of the Lossman Eye Care team, bringing thirty years of experience as a Doctor of Optometry to the group. She supplements a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Oakland University and a doctorate from Illinois College of Optometry with continuous education in current eye-care procedures.
She provides eye examinations in Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and English. Dr. Murray's special interests include a non-surgical cornea reshaping process for correcting nearsightedness. With a particular focus on contact lens fitting, her wide experience includes family-oriented eye care centers as well as larger health care facilities.
Dr. Murray and her husband Bill are longtime residents of Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood where they are active in a variety of community organizations. They are now looking forward to relocating to the northwestern suburbs to be closer to her new practice.
Dr. Kimberly Vicari Robertson graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2002. While there, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and was an officer of the optometric student association. Prior to Optometry school she graduated with a bachelor's degree in General Studies with a minor in Psychology (high distinction) from Indiana University. Dr Robertson has a total of nine years experience in the optical field, beginning as an Optometric Technician then becoming an Optometrist. She has conducted ocular research and served internships at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, as well as the Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indiana. Her scope of interests includes patients of all ages.
Dr. Robertson and her husband, Ron, are excited about establishing roots in their new community.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Ken Lossman is the founder and president of Lossman Eye Care Associates. He attended Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois and went on to Western Illinois University to study the Biological Sciences. While at undergraduate school, he joined and became an officer in Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and was nominated into Beta Beta Honorary Science Society by his peers.
He began his formal optometric education in the fall of 1972 and graduated Cum Laude in 1976. While at Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Lossman joined and became President of Omega Delta. He also was nominated into Beta Sigma Kappa for academic excellence.
An active member of the community, Dr. Lossman has held the office of President of the Park Ridge Kiwanis Club, President of the Carpentersville Lions Club and President of the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce.
He and his wife, Sandy, are the proud parents of Todd and Jessica.
He leads his TEAM of five optometrists in delivering the highest level of professional care to patients in the north, west, and northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Dr. Ria Lee graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in May of 2005. Prior to entering optometry school, she received a bachelor?s degree in Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has gained training in primary care at the Great Lakes Hospital, low vision and pediatrics at the Illinois Eye Institute, advanced care at the University of Chicago, and contact lens training at Lossman Eye Care.
Dr. Lee and her husband, Hike have been married for three years and reside in Des Plaines.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She is involved in the Lions local missions and also volunteers at the Special Olympics.
Dr. Jesse Peterman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Peterman received a bachelor?s degree in biology honors, graduating with distinction from the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign in 2001. While in school, Dr. Peterman received training in primary care optometry at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. He also received extensive training in the areas of pediatrics, ocular disease, low vision, and contact lenses at several locations, including the Deicke Center for Visual Rehabilitation and the Illinois Eye Institute. While in optometry school, Dr.Peterman was elected to join the Beta Sigma Kappa and Tomb and Key Honor societies and he received the Illinois Optometric Scholarship for academic performance.
Dr. Peterman has been involved with local Lions Clubs. He has participated in missions with Illinois Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) providing eye care to underserved populations in the Dominican Republic. He is also involved with the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Peterman and his wife, Meredith, married in July 2006 and currently reside in Palatine.

Dr. Jace Giannetti joined Lossman Eye Care in July of 2009. Jace grew up in Kansas and attended the University of Kansas , where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Biochemistry. He graduated in 2004. Jace then went on to graduate from the Illinois College of Optometry with his Doctorate in Optometry in 2009.
Jace practices full scope optometry and works with patients of all ages. He had several externships, gaining valuable knowledge in ocular disease, contact lens management, low vision, and pediatric care. He is currently a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association .
Jace and his wife Lexi have been married since September 2009, and currently reside in Chicago
